Roxie(Ruoyu) is a narrative illustrator turned motion designer based in Los Angeles, California. She is proficient in designing and animating in both 2D and 3D using primarily Adobe Suite, Cinema 4D and Blender, and has played around with a variety of media, including AR, VR, as well as trying an AI-assisted workflow.

Roxie was born and raised in Xiamen, China, and then went on to RISD studying illustration for her BFA and USC School of Cinematic Arts studying animation for her masters degree. She is passionate about storytelling through a variety of media, and is always down to try new things. Outside of work, she also part times as a middle school art teacher for a local after school program, working with young artists who are passionate about art, guiding them through the fundamentals of the craft while helping them find their own creative voices.
